SPANISH FOOTBALL LIGA | ROUND 2 SUNDAY GAMES FINAL RESULTS

Spanish Football Liga Round 2 matches played tonight with surprise included. Here are all the final scores along with all the goalscorers.

SPANISH FOOTBALL LIGA 2014-2015

Villarreal hosted FC Barcelona & lost to a 81st min goal by substitute Sandro from a great Messi pass. Good game of Football with both teams attacking & creating numerous chances along with both goalkeepers very active with some marvellous saves. In the end the Barça perseverance & perhaps some luck allowed them to find their chance & convert for the winner. FC Barcelona still need some time to find their groove as the new incorporations are still looking for total & complete integration.

Final score 0 - 1 to Barcelona & important 3 points.

SPANISH FOOTBALL LIGA 2014-2015

Surprise result with Real Sociedad winning 4 - 2 Real Madrid after being down 0 - 2. Great & prideful performance from Real Sociedad which deserved the three points, but a disappointing performance from Real Madrid that brought back memories of Di Maria & Xabi Alonso.

Real Madrid started on fire with a Sergio Ramos header goal in the 5th min & a Gareth Bale second goal in the 11th min. Real Madrid created more opportunities & failed to score more which they later paid for dearly.

The Real Sociedad comeback happened in the following manner:

  • Iñigo Martinez 34th min
  • Zurutuza 41st min
  • Zurutuza 65th min
  • Carlos Vela 74th min
Most were defensive lapses from crosses & set ball pieces which are unexplained for a team of the level & calibre of Real Madrid. While the last Real Sociedad goal was a hand-ball not called by the referee.

Either way a shocker from Real Madrid which will open up debate on the need for a striker as Benzema who although hit the post late was practically non-existent. News from England says Manchester United Javier Hernandez will come on loan, but is this enough?
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has plenty of work ahead in coming weeks. By the way Cristiano Ronaldo was rested.

SPANISH FOOTBALL LIGA 2014-2015

Great match & a cliff hanger between Deportivo A Coruña & Madrid Club Rayo Vallecano with a 2 - 2 final draw result

Young ex-Real Madrid player Jose Rodriguez opened the score for Deportivo in the 8th min. Rayo Vallecano equalized with hard work in the 40th min via Bueno & then Bueno again scored in the 73rd min to put Rayo ahead. Just when Rayo had the victory in their hands Deportivo player Cuenca scored the equalizer in the 95th min. Shared points!

Elche 1 - Granada 1 , first goal for Granada from Fran Rico in the 82nd min. The Elche equalizer in the 91st min from Lomban.

La Liga takes a 2 week break due to international match schedule.
