The news now hitting the Spanish Football online sites is that MANCHESTER UNITED & REAL MADRID have come to an agreement for the former to loan their Mexican International forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez to the latter.
According to "Marca" its a one year loan & the player has still to shut the salary conditions with Real Madrid before it all becomes official.
This way Real Madrid finds a reliable substitute & alternative to their current undisputed forward Karim Benzema. The name of Monaco forward Radamel Falcao has been sounding like thunder for the past week, but the Colombian does not fit the "profile". Real Madrid wants a less high profile player who will be willing to accept their secondary role & not directly compete with Benzema. Falcao has the potential to "disrupt" the dressing room equilibrium (also through fan-base pressure) if he sits too much on the bench. Plus the high salary that Falcao currently earns would also rise brows within the Real Madrid players hierarchy, even though it is said the Monaco forward would accept a substantial reduction.
Fact is, "Chicharito" fits the profile wished by the Club & Coach Ancelotti, along with his reputation as a "game chancer" with important goals in the latter part of the matches when he has come on as a substitute. Javier Hernandez has not been a regular with Manchester United & has lost his protagonist role within the English Club squad.
Real Madrid can further open up its marketing position in Mexico where "Chicharito" is a popular National Sporting hero.
Stay tuned as we are all awaiting Club confirmation.
