It was sensed last night that something would occur at Valencia CF after Atletico de Madrid gave them a Football lesson winning 3-0, a scoreline that could have been greater had Diego Costa not missed his penalty & Atletico converted their numerous occasions.
The aftermath is the sacking by Valencia of its Coach Djukic, being temporarily substituted by Valencia B Coach Nico Estevez.
The Valencia CF Directives, especially its President Salvo & Football Director Rufete have found - my opinion - their "scapegoat" & have succumb to public pressure to deviate much greater problems than those within the teams dressing room or performance on the Football field. Valencia CF has a huge financial debt that is being accompanied by terrible organizational management were "dark interests" hang over other issues. Said in another manner, the Club is in a mess & the sacking of Djukic is just the tip of the iceberg.
Added to this the players on the whole will be rejoicing the sacking. Many Football observers had ventured to suggest months back that the players were conspiring to get Djukic sacked. An accusation difficult to prove & / or believe from any true professional but events leaves the door open to this doubt.
The rumoured new Coach & Club objective to take over the Valencia Coaching position is Argentine & ex Spanish League player ( Tenerife - FC Barcelona etc ) Juan Antonio Pizzi currently training Argentine Club San Lorenzo.
