UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL 16 CLUB DRAW | REAL MADRID - FC BARCELONA - AT MADRID

The draw for the match ups of the last 16 Clubs left in the 2013-2014 UEFA Champions League tournament has been celebrated today with the following results for the three Spanish Football Clubs: Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid & FC Barcelona.

The 1º st leg matches are scheduled for the 18th/19th & 25th/26th of Febuary with the 2º leg games scheduled for the 11th /12th & 18th/19th of March.

One can say that FC Barcelona was matched with a team that most wanted to avoid, Manchester City (18th Feb - 12th March). This is also true for the English Club which I am sure they too will not to be glad with the result. Atletico de Madrid was matched with AC Milan ( 19th Feb & 11th March ) & beforehand the Spanish Football Club won't be to upset & may see it as a "small blessing". As for Real Madrid most observers believe they got a "lucky break" being matched with German Club Schalke 04 ( 25th Feb & 19th March ) which is a "lesser team" with all due respects to them. Said all this they are all a danger & needed to be respected.

As with the rest of the European Clubs, interesting & great matches ahead as the competition really begins. Win & you advance, loss & your out.
