Current last placed on the Spanish Liga classification table Real Betis has taken & executed a hard decision. The Spanish Football Club has fired its Coach Pepe Mel after Directives thought that if they were to avoid relegation a change of course was needed now before it was too late.
There are other Coaches also on the knifes edge, like Schuster of Malaga FC in 15th place & even Valencia CF Coach Djukic is not out of trouble & his team is 9th. In the end its about results & victories, that´s competitive Sport.
The new Coach is Juan Carlos Garrido, ex Villarreal & who was unjustly also fired recently by his last Club Brugge which was doing relatively well & high in the Belgium League. Real Betis gets on board an experimented & very good Coach who knows well the Spanish League & all about "complex situations"
From here a big hug to all the Real Betis fans & followers & we wish Garrido all the luck in the World. Hopefully a new Coach with new ideas & fresh air will cause the desired effect on the Club, team & players. To Pepe Mel I am sure he will return soon to another Club, he is a Top Coach & there will be vacant positions as the season moves on.
