FC BARCELONA THINKS IN PSG SAKHO AS AN ALTERNATIVE OPTION

FC Barcelona Coach Gerardo Martino has apparently told Club Directives that if it means sending money not currently available that he has sufficient squad resources to "patch up" the Central Defender position. However, it seems President Rosell is adamant that the team needs a Central Defender reinforcement right now.  

The latest name to arise is Paris St Germain defender Mamadou Sakho. The French International is not getting playing time at his Club & would look forward to a move to FC Barcelona. Compared with the other names being written up in Spanish Sports papers, Sakho is much more economical & apparently less a "hassle". The said transfer price for the French defender is around 15M€ with the added bonus that the player ends contract next season & would be a "free agent" as of the 1st of January 2014. For PSG it maybe a good opportunity to get some cash right now.
