FC BARCELONA LOOKS FOR NEW COACH

FC Barcelona announced yesterday the unfortunate & sad news that its Coach Tito Vilanova could not continue with his job because his illness had "advanced" & the treatment in coming weeks was not compatible with the position. Shockwave that has shaken the Club & has put into motion the urgent need to find a substitute Coach. 

The names on the table are Bielsa, Laudrup, Rubi & Villas-Boas. But the name that has taken strength is Argentine Gerardo"Tata" Martino & ex Coach of Newell´s Old Boys.

The local fans seem to want ex Athletic Club Bilbao Coach Bielsa. An online survey puts Bielsa ahead of all the other names. 

The decision will be important as the way & style of FC Barcelona Football play is very specific & particular. There are also important decisions tactically that needs to be made on the field with the arrival of Neymar who is still on vacation. The position of Neymar & how he will co-ordinate - blend in -  with Lionel Messi is a "delicate" matter that needs to be solved. Apart from this Barcelona has the need for a Top Class Central Defender & this is another issue that will need some attention.

But the emotional aspect has hit hard at the Club & with the players. The team has suspended an upcoming friendly match.

Important decision for the Directives at Camp Barça as the choice of new Coach will have ramifications. From here we wish Tito Vilanova all the strength needed in his battle with his illness.
