IFFHS | CASILLAS 2 º BEST GOALKEEPER THE LAST 25 YEARS

Spanish International & REAL MADRID Goalkeeper IKER CASILLAS has been voted in recent years as the "Best Goalkeeper in World Football". However if we extend the time period to the last 25 years the Spanish Football Player falls to the second position. Italian International & current JUVENTUS goalkeeper GIANLUIGI BUFFON takes the Nº 1 spot by just 13 points.

This has been announced by the FIFA  backed "International Federation of Football History & Statistics" (IFFHS). Other Spaniards in the Top 15 list are ANDONI ZUBIZARRETA in shared 8th position & current FC Barcelona keeper VICTOR VALDES.
