MALAGA FC travelled to ANDERLECHT for their Group C match & won 0 - 3. Another surprising result & deserved as Malaga FC dominated the whole game. The Spanish team is having a marvellous run of wins both in the La Liga & in Champions with all team members in flying & splendid form.

ELISEU opened the scoreline in the 45th min with a superb goal that should be watched on TV if possible. Then in the 56th min JOAQUIN converted a penalty & in the 63rd min ELISEU got another for his second for the night & third for Malaga.
Six points notched up & in great shape to think about a possible next stage of Champions League scenario. If it would occur it would be historical as it already is at this moment. Malaga are on fire!

AJAX OF AMSTERDAM hosted REAL MADRID CF in their Group D match & lost 1 - 4. Real Madrid started with Ramos, along with Essien & Kaka, with both Ozil & Modric on the bench.
Real Madrid dominated most of the match except for 15-20 mins mid 2º half that saw Ajax lift a few gears & push around Real. The best man on the field for Ajax was their goal keeper Vermeer who stopped half a dozen almost certain goals, which says something about the Ajax overall performance.
Most of the 1ºst half was played in the Ajax half as they defended & Real Madrid frustratingly failed to convert their opportunities. However in the 41st min Benzema broke down the flank to the line & passed inward to find CRISTIANO RONALDO wait to fish & push in.

The second half started as the first & in the 47th min Kaka crossed to see BENZEMA score a spectacular overhead goal that was a piece of art. Real Madrid relaxed & from a free-kick set piece MOISANDER scored for Ajax in the 55th min. This gave Ajax hopes of an equalizer & they attacked to put Real on the back foot & spread nerves through the Spanish team.
Coach Mourinho reacted putting fresh feet & midfield muscle with Di Maria, Ozil & later Khedira. This seemed to cancel out the Ajax attacking waves & CRISTIANO RONALDO got the third ( his second ) in the 79th min with a brilliant curler. CRISTIANO RONALDO then repeated a minute later when Khedira found him & he chipped over the goalkeeper for Real Madrid fourth & his HAT-TRICK.
Three points for Madrid in an entertaining match of European Football with some splendid goals.
