What´s up with LUKA MODRIC & the REAL MADRID move?
Overseas readers may be wondering this as the signing-deal was supposed to have happened last week, then it was moved to last Monday, but still no move.

The answer is simple. TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS President Levy will not give the green light until his Club has 100% confirmed a substitute for the Croatian International. The following players have been "touched" but Tottenham has found resistance for the owner Clubs or their transfer price has been too hot: Moutinho (Oporto) & M´Vila (Rennes) . The new Hotspurs objective is AC Roma 22 year player Pjanic & Tottenham has put on the table around 15M€. Another source, English paper "Daily Mail", mentions 24 year old Brazilian player of Shakhtar Donest William & that Hotspurs has put forward a 25M€ offer.
Therefore, as soon as a substitute player is found & it is shut the English Club will give its OK to the Real Madrid transfer for the 26 year old Modric. The agreement between Tottenham & Real Madrid is already shut at around 30M€ + incentives ( 35M€) & the player contract is for 5 years. It is a case of waiting & being patient for Real Madrid as the transfer window is open until the 31st of August.
