ATLETICO DE MADRID took the local derby 3 - 0 against GETAFE. Comfortable match for Atletico with a superb second half & the long awaited return from injury of Brazilian midfielder & onloan player Diego. The win puts Atletico just a point outside of the Euro table positions.
The goal scorers were SALVIO in the 24th min, DIEGO in the 62nd min & FALCAO in the 77th min.

| Valencia CF - Levante |
Another derby - this time regional - ended in a 1 - 1 draw between VALENCIA CF & LEVANTE. The draw allows Valencia to just hold on to the precious 3rd position on the Spanish League ladder. The locals are not happy with the recent Valencia slump in form & Coach Emery looks like he may not be at the helm next season. Meanwhile, Levante continue to "dream" with a Euro position next season as it would be a great prize for their extraordinary season so far.
Goalscorers were JONAS in the 34th min & KONE for Levante in the 53rd min. Valencia hit the bar in the 55th min.

REAL SOCIEDAD defeated Madrid Club RAYO VALLECANO 4 - 0. Real Sociedad exploited a poor Rayo defence & the goals came via AGIRRETXE in the 6th min, ZURUTUZA in the 31st min, GRIEZMANN in the 51st & CARLOS VELA in the 53rd min.

| Villareal - Espanyol |
VILLAREAL drew 0 - 0 with RCD ESPANYOL with plenty of chances not finished off by both sides. Worked game by both teams with tactical set ups & counter-attacks but ineffective in the finishing. Goals disallowed as well which made things frustrating at both ends. The draw was the just result.
