SEVILLA FC defeated GETAFE 3 - 0. Although Sevilla deserved the win there was controversy in the 6th min when an "apparent" hand-ball by Sevilla defender Spahic was not called a penalty in favour of the visitors. Getafe also questioned a foul on their forward Sarabia that they believed deserved a penalty. These events aside Sevilla dominated the match & the goals were scored by FAZIO in the 32nd min, MANU DEL MORAL in the 50th min & KANOUTE in the 92nd min.
