WHAT ABOUT THE SPANISH FOOTBALL FEMALE NATIONAL TEAM ?

Did you know that there was a World Cup Football competition happening? Yes, the female version, with JAPAN proclaiming themselves yesterday 2011 World Champions after defeating the brave USA female team in a dramatic penalty shoot - out after the game finished 2- 2 in the regular period (+ extra time). 


I am almost certain that the "Copa America" with Forlan, Aguero, Neymar & company grabbed our attention more than the Female World Cup, plus the "Copa America" is turning out to be disappointing compared to the excitement & goal packed female World Cup just finished.

Today I have found a great article in Spanish newspaper "El Pais" by James Badcock with the title ..."Where are Spain´s World Cup women? Great question. Spain dominates World Football with its men but was not present in the Female World Cup, why? What about the Spanish Football National FEMALE team?
