VILLAREAL took their great Spanish League form into their European Group D participation with another solid performance defeating Croatian Club DYNAMO ZAGREB 3 - 0. Villareal forward ROSSI had a great match with two goals both scored in the 25th & 80th min & the last for Villareal coming thanks to MARCO RUBEN in the 62nd min. This victory for Villareal assures their presence in the next stage of the Europa League competition.

SEVILLA FC travelled to Paris for their Group J match against PSG & ended up losing 4-2 . This defeat obliges the Spanish team to win their next match against German side Dortmund if they are to continue onto the next stage of the Europa League.
Most of tonights game action occured during the first 45 min with a total of 5 goals being scored between both sides. It was PSG player BODMAR who began things with his goal in the 17th min followed by another for the French team from HOARAU in the 19th min. Sevilla reacted to the goals by picking up its game & finding a "golden period" which saw KANOUTE scored twice to equalize in the 32nd & 36th min, however PSG got ahead again in the 45th min via NENE.
The 2ºhalf started as the 1ºst half finished with a quick goal by PSG via HOARAU in the 47th min & managed his second for the night. The result remained 4 -2 until the end to confirm a just result for PSG who deserved the win as they played much better over a Sevilla side that made too many mistakes. Tweet
