ATLETICO DE MADRID INTERESTED IN IBRAHIM AFELLAY OF PSV

According to Spanish Sports paper “AS” Spanish Club ATLETICO DE MADRID has decided to accelerate its attempts to sign 24 year old PSV EINHOVEN midfielder / forward IBRAHIM AFELLAY. Atletico has communicated to PSV its intention to begin negotiations & attempt to have the player shut & tied for this upcoming “Winter Market”. This way the Spanish Club gets a leading edge over other competitors like Juventus, Arsenal & Sevilla FC.

Afellay with PSV against At.Madrid

The player wishes to earn around 2.5M€ / year but Atletico see this as being somewhat steep & attempts to lower the players economic pretensions. The player will wait until December before making any final decision on his future as he also finishes contract with PSV.
