SPANISH FOOTBALL continued today with Round 2 of the SPANISH LEAGUE - LA LIGA - with 5 games that gave us all lots of goals.
GETAFE defeated LEVANTE 4-1 that tantalized the home crowd. GAVILAN scored twice in the 4th & 91st min along with COLUNGA in the 10th min & ARIZMENDI in the 92nd min. The consolation goal for Levente came via JORDI who scored in the 13th min.
If the above match had goals, the REAL ZARAGOZA - MALAGA game gave us eight! Malaga defeated Zaragoza 3-5 & just to give you an idea of the visitors "whitewash" , Zaragoza was down 1-5 in the 1ºst half. Real Zaragoza managed to control the damage with two goals in the second half that is worth a special mention.

REAL SPORTING DE GIJON had a tougher game against REAL MALLORCA but managed to win 2-0 after some hard & persistent work. The goals finally came in the second half via BOTIA in the 47th min & DIEGO CASTRO scored the second goal via a penalty in the 86th min.
SEVILLA FC played out a 0-0 draw with DEPORTIVO DE A CORUÑA. A match well fought between both sides with a fair share of yellow cards shown & opportunities to score for both teams throughout the 90 mins that were not turned into goals. Final result, shared points.
