The Spanish team started strong & hit the post via Luis Fabiano early but slowly lost the ball as the game progressed. In fact Sevilla FC sinned in not "killing" off the game when they had their chances & Sporting gained in confidence to take control.The 2ºhalf was dominanted by Sporting who received their reward for their hard work in the 63rd min when MATHEUS scored. From here onwards Sevilla tried to equalized but the damage had been already done & the Portuguese team held out to put in a "surprise" result.
Sevilla FC will have to take away some valuable lessons from tonights match & put it all together again next week if they are to be present in this seasons Champions League. There is still the opportunity! Tweet
