According to France Football, Lionel Messi is the highest paid & richest Football (Soccer) player in the World. The FC Barcelona player & Argentine International has overtaken David Beckham & Cristiano Ronaldo as the biggest “money making” machine in World Football. A breakdown of the Messi figure reveals that 10M€ is in salary, plus 4M€ in Club bonuses with the rest, 19M€ in publicity contracts.
