defeated SEVILLA FC 1-0 in their SPANISH CUP 2º leg semi-final
clash,but lost on aggregate 2-1 to Sevilla. Thus SEVILLA FC is one
of the finalists of this years Spanish Cup.

SOLDADO (above) hit the post in the 7th min & if that would have gone
in, perhaps the future would have been different. Getafe did not put its
head down & played an outstanding game of Football with SOLDADO
finally scoring in the 52nd min to raise hopes & lift his team.
But Sevilla FC goalkeeper PALOP was again in the right place with the
right movements to keep out a raging Getafe, that could have drawed
& forced extra-time had not the already mentioned goalie do an
incredible save in the last seconds to give his team the pass to the
Spanish Cup final.
Tomorrow, Atletico de Madrid takes its 4 goal advantage to Racing to
attempt to win its 2º leg semi clash & gain their ticket to meet up
