SEVILLA FC defeating GETAFE 2-0. Although this scoreline gives the
Andalucia team a huge advantage with the 2º leg match still to play,
there is still "slim hopes" for Getafe if the way they played tonight
could be repeated at home next week.

In fact this game gave strenght to the saying, "how cruel Football can
be", as Getafe played better than Sevilla & really deserved to win, or
at least not by two goals. Just when Getafe were doing their best
Football, Sevilla forward LUIS FABIANO scored in the 45th min. This
was a psychological blow to the visitors.
But the bad luck reared its head again in the 80th min when Sevilla
player Navas made a pass into the goal area to have Getafe player
MARIO unfortunately knock in an own goal & Sevilla´s second.
Being as it was, & unlucky as it turned out for Getafe, lets not take
away any merit from Sevilla who did their job & very well.
This Thursday, the second 1º leg semi-final between At.Madrid &
Racing is scheduled. Should be a good one, here anything could
