Cristiano Ronaldo "fended off" the player in last Sundays Liga game
that lead to the Ronaldo direct RED CARD.

Translated:
"Some publicity campaigns of Cristiano Ronaldo have been updated"
The Spanish Football Federation "Disciplinary Commission" (Comite de
Competition) has handed a TWO WEEK susupension to Cristiano Ronaldo.
This can be considered "lucky" as the rules state a minimum of between
4-12 weeks (voluntary or not) when the action causes injury to the
other player. What has "saved" Ronaldo is that the injury of Mtiliga will
keep him off the field 1 week (not 2 weeks), the player excused himself
to the player privately & publically & the enormous pressure exercised
by Real Madrid & its media "partners" (Marca, AS...& radio).
Real Madrid has already stated they will appeal this decision to
attempt to change the decision down to just a one game suspension.
SFS believes Roanldo & Real Madrid are already lucky with just a
2 game suspension decision.
Do you have an opinion?

wel that rule is stupid cos in that case shouldn't the keeper that unintentionally injured luis filipe be banned for rest of the season.
