quick & brief summary of events.

Once again REAL MADRID defeated ATLETICO DE MADRID at the
"Vicente Calderon" Stadium 2-3 in a dramatic game. Real started

without Raúl & Atletico left Sergio Aguero on the bench, the latter
due to leg muscle worries which has caused controversy.

Real Madrid dominated the game from the start with a quick goal
from KAKÁ in the 4th min, MARCELO in the 24th & HIGUAÍN in the
64th. But a red card to Real Madrid player Sergio Ramos in the 65th

min & the incorporation of Aguero in the second half almost turned
the game around for Atletico with goals from FORLAN in the 78th min
& AGUERO in the 80th min. It was Real Madrid goalkeeper CASILLAS

who stopped a almost certain goal towards the end of the match
that avoided the draw.
