Jorge Valdano may have a name, & the local media is publishing that
there are already contacts to sign FIORENTINA defender & Peru
International JUAN VARGAS. In fact, the Italian Club President
Mr.Corvino has acknowledged that Real Madrid is definately interested
in his player & may make a move in the upcoming "Winter Transfer
Market".

Not the best idea, he's too attack-minded and a bit dodgy defensively. Probably a better version of Marcelo, but we certainly don't need any version of Marcelo at leftback right now. A stronger defender like Clichy / A. Cole would be great.
First Ashley Cole is also attack minded...but do you not remember the roberto carlos day, aka "90 minute man" he was not only an attack minded player like vargas, but he is also a lefty...Vargas def needs to come to Real...if this occurs... Real Madrid defense can finally compete with the likes of Barcas Puyol/Dani Alves.
