SEVILLA FC did what it had to do in the first 25 minutes scoring two
goals to control, settle & win 2-0 its games against MALLORCA. The
Sevilla & French International defender SQUILLACI put his team
ahead with a header in the 16th min, followed by Sevilla´s second
thanks to Argentine PEROTTI in the 24th min.

Sevilla FC controlled the game from here onwards with sporadic
signs of danger from Mallorca there onwards. In fact, Sevilla could
have gone further in the goal tally had Adriano, Negredo & Fabiano
taken their chances in the 2º half.

As said here before on SFS, this Sevilla side looks good & if they
continue with this play will be giving the “hot favourites” ( Barça &
Real) a real run for their money.

RACING DE SANTANDER lost to an overpowering FC BARCELONA
1-4 as Barça continues on its merry way of total dominance of the ball
&
play. It was a one team show the 1ºhalf with IBRAHIMOVIC starting
things in the 19th min with a header that went into goal. MESSI then
continued & started his particular show with a great second for Barça
in the
23th min from a Xavi pass. PIQUE got into the act 3ºmins later
from a Ibrahimovic pass & it looked like Racing would receive a hand
full.

The 2ºhalf saw Barça brake a bit, but not before MESSI got his second
& Barça´s fourth with this gem of a goal, see VIDEO:

Messi was substituted, Marquez, Pedro & Iniesta got a run to see in
the 71st min Racing get a consolation goal when SERRANO did a
nutmeg on Marquez an cracked a goal.

Great win for Barça, with the only concern being HENRY who is anxious
to score with his current four month dry spell. This is affecting his mind
& game & we will have to see how long Coach Guardiola maintains his
confidence with the Frenchmen.
