LIVERPOOL FC EYES AT BILBAO DEFENDER AMOREBIETA?

News from “Marca”, which has been picked up from the English
paper “The Sun”, comment that various members of LIVERPOOL FC
travelled to Bilbao last night to witness the Spanish SuperCup game
between Athletic & FC Barcelona.

The reason? The ATHLETIC DE BILBAO defender FERNANDO
AMOREBIETA who has caught the attention of Manager-Coach
Rafael Benitez who wishes to reinforce his teams defence. It
is published that Benitez will attempt to convince Liverpool
owners to allow him to offer 12M€ to get the Spanish defender
over to Anfield.
