daily “AS” has announced it & it looks official. REAL MADRID has
come to an agreement with OLYMPIQUE DE LYON for the services
of 21 year old French International forward KARIM BENZEMA for
a transfer price of 35M€ plus incentives for titles & a 6 year contract.
Real Madrid accelerated the process after it was rumoured that
Manchester United was about to make an offer with the “fresh”
money from Real Madrid in the Cristiano Ronaldo operation, an offer
of 45M€ but Benzema wanted to come to the Spanish Club & his Club
supported his wish.

This obviously shuts the DAVID VILLA – REAL AMDRID saga, & opens
the door for FC BARCELONA to sign Villa. Once again, strategically
& tactically speaking, Real jumps a few steps ahead & steals the
limelight from FC Barcelona & making it seem that David Villa chooses
Barça because his first choice Real Madrid was foiled, or said vulgarly,
Barça picks up the scraps. SFS opinion is that in the last days David Villa
changed his mind & gave Barça his Ok & to limit the "idea" that Real
Madrid had failed the signing of Karim gives them the arguement that
Villa was never a TOP priority for Real & they always had alternatives.
Being what it maybe, there are soooo many stories, Villa is a grand
asset for any Club & for Barça if he does sign , but Football is all about
image, the media & all these other elements extra-Football
By the way, excellent signing by Real Madrid, Benzema is young & has
an excellent future. Real is hoping he will explode at their Club, I´m
sure he will.

Its a metaphor Anonymous...its a metaphor. Relax & try to enjoy the Sport you enjoy. You enjoy the sport , right?
