REAL MADRID NEWS: XABI ALONSO IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS?

Spanish daily “Marca” puts on its cover that positions between
LIVERPOOL FC & REAL MADRID are getting closer, so much so that
according to the daily Liverpool has put a 48 hour deadline for the
Spanish Club to propose a “decent” offer for XABI ALONSO. The
desired price is reported to be around 30M€ + extras for incentives,
that is a reduction from the original asked price of 41M€.

Alonso has expressed to the Club that he desires to play at Real
Madrid & Liverpool has asked the player time to find a substitute
which apparently is AQUILANI from AC ROMA who has already
given his OK. Real Madrid desperately needs a player of Alonso´s
characteristics as they are weak in the play making & creative
midfield area as seen by their last two friendly games.

Staying with Liverpool FC, the signing of LIVERPOOL FC Spanish
International defender ARBELOA by REAL MADRID looks
imminent as well & is expected to be shut in the next days for
about 4M€

Lastly, while with Real Madrid, news is that AC MILAN is thinking
in HUNTELAAR.
