MADRID offer of 43M€ plus its player NEGREDO to VALENCIA CF,
which was informally closed, with the inclusion of a 40M€ cash
figure with the loan of defender Martin Caceres in the operation,
we now see news from English paper “The Mirror” that adds
excitement to the whole issue. According to the reports
MANCHESTER UNITED will make – if not made already – a 52M€
offer for DAVID VILLA after generating healthy cash flows with
the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.
We need to take all this & what is happening with a grain of salt:
1. FC Barcelona may have made an offer to up the price of the
player & “to stick one into” Real Madrid. What smells fishy is that
a Barça Vice-President has affirmed their bid for Villa & President
Laporta hasn’t said a word as yet, not even their Football
Director...mmmm
2. With this mmmm, FC Barcelona has changed strategy from
Ibrahimovic because it feels it needs to win back the "World stage"
lost to the Kaká & Ronaldo signings. They wish to stick the knife
into the arch rival
3. Chelsea FC went last week to the Valencia CF office & walked
out saying that the deal with Real Madrid was well advanced, plus
the player does not wish to go & play at England. This leads us to
suspect that the new Manchester United offer won´t have an
effect at all, even if Valencia wishes to grab the money.
4. It has been reported here by local media that David Villa has
expressed to his “inner circle” that if he leaves Valencia CF it
would only be to Real Madrid. VILLA will have to go public &
force the situation by saying where he wishes to go.
5. Valencia CF are holding out to see if David Villa bags a load
of goals at the Confederations Cup in order to argue that
he is worth more than what is being offered.
SAID THIS, mine are PURE SPECULATIONS as SFS hasn’t access to
the player, his representative, Valencia CF, Real Madrid CF, FC
Barcelona &/or Manchester United. All that SFS puts on the table are
alternative view points from a strategic & negotiating angle. It
may turn out that Villa finally goes to either Barça or Man Utd &
not to Real Madrid, Football & Big Business are unpredictable!
Let’s see, SFS will keep an eye on developments in this absorbing
transfer saga.
