KAKA via his father Bosco Leite & REAL MADRID via its President
Florentino Perez, that Brazilian star would go to REAL MADRID for
65M€ plus a 5 year contract at 9M€/season salary, Real would have
50% of Kaka´s image rights. However, in the very last minute
CHELSEA FC via its owner Roman Abramovich made an offer that
doubled his annual salary of Madrid, an astonishing 18M€/ year
(click source) . It seems Chelsea new Coach & ex Milan Manager
Carlos Ancelotti insists in having Kaka with him at the English
Club & has appealed to Abramovich to do everything possible.
This has halted the signing of the contract with Real Madrid, or
at least this is what some sources are informing.

More news will come out during the next hours as the smoke clears
from the canon fire from England. However SFS is going to make
some suppositions & speculate a bit:
1. The deal was shut before Chelsea intervened ...long ago.
2. 18M€ /season salary is outrageous as it will “destroy” the dressing
room with jealously & other demands. It will break the market for
everyone.
3. UK tax laws & rates are not as favourable as in Spain. Kaka´s
people will see that it may cost more in the long-run.
4.This could be a strategy by Chelsea were both Clubs come to
an agreement & "cut up" the summer transfer market. Chelsea
may back off Kaka, if Real Madrid agrees to back off Franck
Ribery, etc
ALSO other factors:
5. Battle of commisions - piece of the cake
6. Chelsea still remembers Real over the "robinho affair"
There is more here than meets the eye.
Having said this, SFS could be totally wrong & KAKA could end up
at Chelsea. My only rope of rational is that KAKA has already shown
that money isn’t everything after knocking back Manchester City a
few months ago. I am speculating that the DREAM of the player is
to play for Real Madrid, independently of Carlo Ancelotti & Chelsea
FC.

i hear that fulham are interested in kaka's brother diago, could be a nice little west london reunion! as a chelsea fan, i'd rather see youngsters like pato, aguaro heading our way. kaka has been a bit stop start for the last few years and doesn't have much to prove.
