THIERRY HENRY - STAY OUT OF SPANISH POLITICS, PLEASE!!!!

Intellectuales say intelligent things, but Football players say...
"Cataluña no es España y eso hay que sentirlo" - translated -
"Catalonia is not Spain, you have to feel it". Ok that is fine, but

two years living in "Catalonia" & one thinks (feels) what people
in 500 years has´nt yet got it
clear.

Ok, I now go on & say this about the south of France... "this belongs
to the
Basque Country & not the French state, you have to feel it" ...Ok
for you Thierry ?

Thierry score goals & play your Football well. Stay out of f*cking
politics & don´t come across as an idiot.
OK!

i think it is a very harsh reaction from you on this topic , i actually did not expect you to stoop that low and use that kind of language , which has dissapointed me. to the contrary it makes you look like an idiot, which i do not think you are but your reaction was very childish and did not take into account the fact the in truth he is only trying to build a relationship with the barca fans and is not realy that political. the fans have been over critical of him and his performances have been good but not excellent, which the fans expected when he came to barca. henry is making comments about something he thinks and he has a right to express his opinion. it probably does feel like that to him as he is a barca player and some players and the president reflect their opinions on him and including all the promotinal work by barca to represent catalonia, including a 100,000 fans with flags, could help to pursued him to feel like it is. however it may be only like that around the stadium or in the derby matches which he has played.

Personally I love it when athletes demonstrate larger concerns; even if these reflections aren't as incisive as we'd want at least kids learn the world of politics (in which the Barca club as alway been knee-deep) exists. In a county (USA) ruled by apathy in which athletes don't speak their minds because Nike might shun them, I welcome (almost) every outburst of free speech. And I doubt Henry is as ignorant as you for some reason assume. I'll also state that America would have fared far better in the last eight years had it paid heed to some French advice.

Hi thanks for your comments, I accept them even with your personal edge, but I dont agree with you.

I believe Sports & Politics do not mix, & when they do, they raise emotions which may lead to violence.
Henry should be wise & not get into this black hole

Best
