SPANISH FOOTBALL: THE SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM & FC BARCELONA RELATIONSHIP

FC BARCELONA has given the Spanish National Team many &
wonderful players, a total of 118 with the call up last week of Pique &
Sergio Busquets. The current Spanish National Side has Xavi, Iniesta,
Pique, Puyol & Busquets, plus if we take into consideration that other
current & regular players started their career & grew up at Barça like
Reina, Cesc, Sergio Gracia, Guiza & Fernando Navarro the list is even
more impressive.

Here is a photo given to us by the daily“AS”of the 1959 Spanish National
Team against Poland. It’s the RECORD in reference of the number of
Barça players with the National side.

The team is:
Standing: Ramallets, Olivella,Garay, Gracia, Segarra y Gensana.
Crounched: Tejada, Kubala, Di Stéfano, Suárez y Gento.

Except for Garay, Di Stéfano y Gento, the rest (8) are from FC
Barcelona.
