Arnold Oosterveer , representative of Jan Klaas Huntelaar has commented
that his player has never said he wishes to leave Real Madrid. This “flash”
comes from Spanish daily “Marca” after rival daily “AS” published this

Since arriving at REAL MADRID Dutchman HUNTELAAR has
played 151 minutes spread over 5 games, one of which he started from
the beginning. Added to this Coach Juande Ramos has´nt chosen
him for Champions & that has been a hard blow to take for the player.
Although the 25 year old says publically that he is happy to be at
Real Madrid & he knows he must win his place, according to Sapnish
daily "AS" privately its a different message. AS claims to have evidence
that the player has told his inner circle that he wishes to leave Real
Madrid. He not playing, the Coach does´nt have confidence in him
& not being chosen for the only Champions inscription has sank
Huntelaar. Before signing with Real , other major Clubs were interested
in his services like Arsenal, Chelsea & Juventus & he feels he may have
made the wrong choice.
Huntaleer faces tough competition upfront. Raul is untouchable, he
is a living "legend", Captain & shares representative with Coach Juande
Ramos. Gonzalo Higuaín is in brilliant form, he scored the winner on
Saturday against Racing & he is the Clubs leading goal scorer with 13
goals this season in League.
Tough & frustrating times for Huntelaar who was sold the idea that he
was Van Nistelrooy´s replacement & would play. Now reality is different
& must win his place & be patient.
Football can change over night, an injury to Raul or Higuain could
see him with his opportunity & he must exploit it to the maximum if it
comes his way. The easy thing to do is leave, then live for the rest of your
life knowing that you were never good enough for Real Madrid, a
haunting doubt one should avoid at all cost, & at least try to overcome

Even long term this guy is going to struggle for popularity with the fans, especially when there is the possibility of players like Benzema who can dribble the ball that could come next season.
Still - if RVN can make himself a legend at Madrid then so can Huntlaar.
