ECONOMIC CRISIS HITS LOWER DIVISION SPANISH CLUBS

The Economic Crisis ( & bad business management) is also hitting Spanish
Football, in this case GRANADA who play in the 2º Division Group 4 &
whose professional players haven’t been paid for the last 4 months. This
weekend in their match against Melilla the players decided to protest &
send a message to their Club President Paco Sanz & everyone … “Paco
Sanz we need to be paid now”!

This situation is also occurring with UD LOGROÑES & other Clubs. In
this occasion GRANADA was given the games gate takings as a sign of
solidarity. Let’s wish them luck, & to all the other Clubs as their players
have to feed their families.

It's a big problem in other countries too. Teams in lower leaugues don't receive money from tv. For example Polish second leaugue teams will be play in spring their youth teams, beacause they don't have money for contracts.
