Four games played tonight in Round 9 of the Spanish League with
the following results, scorers & images.

ATLETICO DE MADRID won 2-0 MALLORCA thanks to the 1ºst
half performance of SERGIO AGUERO who scored twice in the 13th
& 28th min. There´s no doubt that the Forlan - Aguero combo upfront
is lethal, however the worry is that Atletico is Aguero dependent. Anyway,
3º points are 3ºpoints & they can´t complain.

The FC BARCELONA machine defeated MALAGA in the pouring
rain with a 1-4 result. It was the XAVI show tonight with 2 goals - one
a brilliant free kick in the 5th min - the other 2 goals come from MESSI
& WELIGTON. The goal for Malaga came from DUDA in the 12th min:
Barça too good tonight!

VILLAREAL suffered to 1st 45mins against ATHLETIC DE BILBAO
but "killed" them in the 2ºhalf to finish the match with a 1-4 win.
The scorers for Villareal were ROSSI (22m); PIRES(53m); CAZORLA
(59m) & ALTIDARE (90). For Bilbao ETXEBERRIA scored in the 27th min
to get some pride to the team. Worrying signs at Bilbao!

Shock win for RACING who defeated VALENCIA CF 2-4. The man
of the match was TCHITE who scored a HAT TRICK (22, 44 & 80m)
with the 4th for Racing was an own goal by Albelda in the 85th min.
The goals for Valencia came thanks to VILLA in the 27th min &
JOAQUIN in the 70th min. Valencia lose top spot on the ladder.
