Union started well with a 1st min goal by JUAN which was matched
by HIGUAIN in the 9th min. However, Union was not scared & JUAN
scored again with a header in the 19th min to take his team ahead.
The 2ºhalf was a "fair fight" with both going after a win, when SAVIOLA
drew in the 53rd min, but Union again went ahead with the winner in the
63rd min via GOIKOETXEA. Memorable win for Real Union who will
remember this night for a long time, now they have to continue with the
job in the next match in the mighty "Santiago Bernabeu" Stadium.
