2-1 to consolidate its Group leadership & guarantee its presence in
next years U/21 European Championship. The Spanish team had to
make some important changes as 4 regular players were out serving
suspensions, but that did´nt stop Spain exercising their domination
which was clear in the 2ºhalf of the game.

The 1º half was Spain vs the Russian Wall, & it was´nt until the
2º half that Spain managed to "open the can"with a penalty in
which MATA converted ( pictured) & later the 2ºgoal via
PIQUE.
