EURO 2008: SPAIN CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE AFTER DEFEATING GERMANY 0-1 IN THE FINAL.

SPAIN has proclaimed itself the CHAMPION of the EUROPEAN
NATIONS CUP
44 years after winning the title the first time. The
Spaniards defeated GERMANY 0-1 to remain the only team
undefeated throughout the whole tournament & win the Silver Cup.

SFS has its fingers twitching & finding it hard to type this gran news
as the joy is overflowing after waiting so long to live this Football
experience. Spain deserves to have won the game, & the tournament ,
as
this young generation of Spanish Footballers played the best
Football of Europe.

Captain CASILLAS is pictured with the coverted Cup that has
prized poetic Football. It was all team spirit & classical Football
of touch, patience, skill & determination that brings the Cup to
Spain & awards the "Spanish method" of play.

The moment was in the 33rd min when FERNANDO TORRES
beat defender Lahm from a Xavi pass & then beat the German
goalkeeper to score the only & winning goal of the game. Before
this moment Torres had touched the post with a header & Spain
had experienced numerous chances that deserved better.

Below is the image of celebration & of team spirit that was the key
to winning the European Title.

Germany were worthly opponents, tough, strong & stubborn to
put in a brilliant effort. However, the ball won over strenght &
pure board tactics. Spain tired the Germans making them run
after the ball & then exploited the defensive gaps. It was magical
Football by the Spaniards as it dazzled at certain moments,
although as expected, they also suffered from the German waves
of
attacks in the last 15ºmins.

Spain now has a young team with experience that will serve as the
nucleus for future competitions, that may take them higher in the
coming years, its up to them.

In conclusion, this is mind-blowing for SFS & simply cannot
continue further. Tomorrow once calmed SFS will give greater
coverage.

I have a question. What was the T-Shirt Sergio Ramos was wearing about?

Congratulations Spain. Fantastic Game.

Ramos' shirt was in honor of Puerta. They both played for Sevilla B.
