First news comes from Italy, from INTER MILAN & its President
Morrati. The Inter President wishes to build for next season a
powerful new side with the cornor-stone being - according to press
("Sport" for example) speculation - coach Mourinho who will have a
blank cheque for signnings. The desired "World" star is FC
BARCELONA Argentine star LIONEL MESSI & the Inter Milan
President wishes to pay whatever it takes to get the player over to
Italy, so much so, that he may consider paying his astronomical contract
release clause. According to "Sport" Inter has sent representatives to
Argentina, where Messi is recovering from injury, to get near & speak
to the players close group.
Varios things here: 1. Its not sure Mourinho will be coach , he has
various other clubs interesred like Barça, Real Madrid & Ac Milan
for example.2.Doubt Messi will want to leave his club or Barça allow
the Argentine to go.
Staying with FC BARCELONA , news out of "Mundo Deportivo"
& "Sport" comment that Barça has its eyes on ARSENAL & Ivory
Coast 24 year old right - back EMMANUEL EBOUÉ. Their are
various candiadtes in mind (Eboué included) ) to replace
Zambrotta who will leave at the end of the season for AC Milan.
Lastly, the news the last few weeks has been that Danish International
& SEVILLA FC midfield POULSEN had a pre-agreement with
FC BARCELONA, only needing that Barça & Sevilla come to an
agreement, which as yet has not occured.
Taking advantage of this situation REAL MADRID coach Schuster
has asked that Poulsen be one of the priorities for the team for next
