interest for Spanish & LIVERPOOL FC midfielder XAVI ALONSO.
Once again that interest takes space in the news, concretely in the
English press & Spanish daily "Sport". According the the headlines
Barça is willing to fork out 13, 3M€ to make with the services of
Alonso for next season.
Xavi Alonso is not having the best of seasons due to injuries & the
tough competition from fellow midfield teammates is´nt giving him an
easy & comfortable time. Add to this, the less than expected good
performance from his team & the serious questioning of Spanish coach
Benitez future on the bench, & the player may be thinking it´s time

Just a point - it's Xabi not Xavi isn't it?? anyway......the midfielder has been a pale shadow of himself this season.He seems to have gone from one of Rafa's trusted 'favourites' to a bit-part player this year and now finds himself behind the inexperienced Lucas, despite Sissoko's exit. He's a class act on his day but it looks like he will be off in the summer and I reckon Barca would be a good bet as to where he's going to go.
