I can't remember where I read it. Possibly on the BBC website. But I read that Torres took a pay-cut to come to Liverpool.
If thats true then he must have been getting a lot at Athletico.
Yeah thats true he did take a paycut to go to anfield and steven gerrard is the top earner at liverpool so torres is probably on about 100k a week same as gerrard. I heard he was on 130k a week at atletico so he dropped about £1.5m a year to come to england!
