ALFREDO DI STEFANO - REAL MADRID & THE FOOTBALL WORLD PAYS TODAY HOMAGE

Sources close to ALFREDO DI STEFANO say that the man is
today & bit nervious with all the activities planned, the 800 or more
friends & guests expected, the awards, the praises & the extra
attention the 81 year old REAL MADRID & World Football leyend
will receive this Sunday.

FIFA, UEFA, the Football World & specially his club Real Madrid,

who has organized te event, will pay homage to one of the Greatest
Players, if not the Greatest of all time, of Football - Alfredo Di
Stefano. SFS will not enter the debate if the greatest or not, but will
pay today its own particular modest homage to a man & a football
player that is a symbol of elegance, talent & grace.

The day will start at the "Santiago Bernabeu Staduim" were he will
receive an honourary award from Platini - Uefa President - the "Uefa
Honourary President Award" infront of Blatter ( FIFA President),
Spanish Club Presidents, Spanish Government & International Autorities,
Ex - teammates, Football friends - Charlton, Eusebio, Kopa, Fontaine,
Beckenbaur, current stars ( just to say a few ) & 800 guests. From here

they go to the Real Madrid Sporting instalations to open up an exposition

of unedited & edited photos of the great with videos that will make up the

museum. Then a statue will be unveiled in his honour that will be at the

entrance of the "Castilla" staduim. Big day for the 81 ( soon 82 ) year old.
