ATLETICO DE MADRID NEWS.

According to local daily "AS" ATLETICO DE MADRID are looking

at two defenders in order to strenghten & solve its defensive
problems.
Atletico wishes to reinforce for next season the goalkeeping, the central
defender & right defending positions & are currently at work.

The two current options are, 27 year old Uruguayian International &
FENERBACHE central defender DIEGO LUGANO ( pictured below) &
22 year old Brazilian & SAO PAOLO right back ALEX SILVA.

The idea is that these possible options be incorporated next season,
however if Atletico cannot solve its current defensive problems, it
may trigger an advance offer in the upcoming "winter market".

Staying with Atletico & transfer rumours, daily "Sport" report that
Italian side INTER MILAN will make an offer of around 20M€ for
SERGIO AGUERO ( pictured). Highly unlikely the player or club will
accept ( stay calm Atletico fans) , except that Aguero has a 36M€
release clause that makes him accesible to the big clubs.
Atletico is currently racing to better his contract conditions & lift the
release clause out of "harms" way.
