A loss has been on the cards for RM for a while now and once again they could have conceded loads more goals if it weren't for Casillias. More worrying, we couldn't get the ball up to Raul or Nistelrooy at all, as Guti and Sniejder didn't have anything going.
Canavaro and Ramos made some nasty mistakes for which we were punished - but these things happen, the point is, we could not get back into the game again afterwards.
I had to applaude a great goal by Tamudo by the way.

Awesome performance by Villareal, depsite Pires going to down so easily in the box, he had a great game. They were dynamite in the first 20 minutes and managed to maintain enough momentumn to carry them through the game. Great game.

Interesting to see Bojan make his first start and goal for Barca - he certainly seems to have the right instincts running onto a great pass form Messi. Where are Barca finding all this young talent? and why is no-one else getting a look in? Is it the scouts or the training at Barca that are beeter than all the other clubs? or is it simply club reputation which allows them to pull in the best?

Striker, they are not the only ones. Arsenal and Manchester United also benefit from Barça’s strategy. Is Barça doing the maclaren?

As I see it, and I’m not in a maclaren state of mind, Real Madrid and Barcelona lost last season their games vs. Españyol and Villareal. And while Real Madrid won this season at Villarreal, 0-5, Barça lost 3-1. Plus let’s give all the credit to Espanyol. With 8 games played they’ve defeated 3 contenders: Real Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia
