what´s happening with all the REAL MADRID signings, here is a
quick rundown of the current situation ( thanks to "Marca" for the
picture & summary):
ALEXANDRE PATO: He gave is OK to Real Madrid via his agent
in July, but AC MILAN stepped into the picture. Today Italian press
"Gazzette dello Sport" say that "PATO" is going to AC Milan for
the price asked by his Brazilian´s club ( Porto Alegre) of 20M€, a
5 year contract & will arrive in Italy Jan.2008. We need to wait & see
an official statement, although it looks stiff for Real in this case.
ROBBEN: complicated & a real DEADLOCK here. Real & Robben have
an agreement, but CHELSEA has rose the transfer price in the last 4
weeks from 15 - 36M€. Why? Chelsea wish to finance the Daniel Alves
operation with the income of the Real Madrid payment & Alves is more
than 30M€. Real Madrid has stopped at 31M€ & will not pay more.
LUCHO GONZALEZ: the 26 year old Argentine International & OPORTO
Captain has said NO to Valencia & Lyon, because he wishes to play at Real
Madrid. Real has to "cut" a deal with Oporto ( owns 50%) & MSI ( 50%),
& the Oporto price is 25M€. We will have to await news & see how things
move on this front.
SAMIR NASRI - the 20 year old French International & OLYMPIQUE DE
MARSEILLE star has said YES verbally to Real Madrid for a June 2008
incorporation. However Real now may wish to accelarate his incorporation
to "right now", if it cannot find the creative midfield player its looking for
at this moment. Being this the case, Real still needs to negotiate with
Nasri´s club.
KAKA: the desired player for the midfield. Impossible, or is it? Last Real Madrid
offer is Baptista, Cassano & 55M€ & AC MILAN has not answered. Both clubs
will see each other again in the Moscow Locomotive Tournament tomorrow &
will no doubt speak about this subject again. Anything is possible.
ROYSTON DRENTHE : Real Madrid offer 13M€ & FEYENOORD ask for
18M€, the Dutch club wishes it in cash & Real to pay over 5 years, another
DEADLOCKED situation & Real Madrid " pissed off". However, if Feyenoord
accept the yearly payment terms, Real maybe willing to raise the offer. This is
a real tag-of-war negotiation situation. Stay tuned on developments

Finally Real Madrid being smart. get Samir Nasri, Pato and Drenthe. I think 18M€ for Drenthe is worth it.
Pato is worth 20-25M€ and they should also get Quaresma since they need a replacement for Beckham. In my openion Nasri should be the top target instead of Kaka or Robben because they shouldn't lose him.
