"puzzled" at the fact that he did not form part of the "theoritical"
official 11 team line-up at training today. Barça is doing their pre-season
training period at Saint Andrews in Scotland.
"I suppose I still count for the team", said Deco ( not literal, translated)
...& went on to add..."I have a contract until 2010, & no one has spoken to
me about anything on the contrary for me to think differently. If they
don´t wish to have me, its their right I suppose"
Its known Deco is happy at Barça & will obviously fight to prove & win his
place, but should he worry?
This is the type of news a "midfield hungry" Real Madrid may pounce on.
Stay tuned for possible developments!

franky is going back to the traditional 4-3-3. deco is now sub for outside mid like motto.
if frank rijkaard fails he'll probably get fired, and the future of deco would be uncertain. If rijkaard succeeded he'll be looking forward to trade out deco once for all and get a more dedicated outside mid...
deco should get the f*ck out of barca asap. risking his career there.
Could be!
And all this because Barca got greedy and signed Henry into a team with more than enough talent up front. They sgned him because they could, and to assure their fans they were going to overhaul, but now, any way you cut it, top class international talent will end up sitting on the bench. Deco deserves better, Henry deserves better, even (and I hate to say this) Gudjohnson deserves better.
