VAN NISTELROOY takes his season tally to 25 goals.
He currently leads the Spanish 1º Division League goal scoring
table - "El Pichichi":
1. Van Nistelrooy ( RM)- 25 goals
2 Diego Milito (ZAR) - 22 goals
3. Kanoute (SEV) - 21 goals
4. Ronaldinho (BCN) - 20 goals
5. Forlan (VRL) -19 goals
With 1º more game left in the league, Nistelrooy is well on his way
of securing the "Pichichi" title & if he scores 1º more goal next
weekend, he will equal Francesco Totti ( Roma) & share the "Golden
Boot" title ( Top European Goal scorer). If he can convert 2º goals
against Mallorca next weekend, he will take the "Golden Boot" for
himself .The current standing looks like this:
1. Francesco Totti (Roma) - 26 goals - 52 points
2. Alfonso Alves ( Heerenveen) - 34 goals - 51 points
3. Van Nistelrooy ( Real Madrid) - 25 goals - 50 points
SFS wishes the player good luck
for next weekend.
He has already a "title" in Spanish
Football History. He shares the
record for scoring a goal in 7º
consecutive straight games.
Finally, if Real Madrid do win the Spanish League title, they will
have to thank the Dutchman for being one of the main contributors
in making possible a lost dream 3 months ago.

were Ruud scored both goals.
