Great news for ATLETICO DE MADRID. Two of its key
players Argentine MAXI RODRIGUEZ & Bulgarian
PETROV are back training hard after 6 months recovering
both from a serious knee operation.
They are running, shooting, exercising hard & gaining confidence.
We hope to see them back on the field soon & help contribute
towards securing a place in Europe for Atletico.
Another player coming out of injury is REAL MADRID
English midfielder DAVID BECKHAM. On March the 4th
he strained his knee & now is back training hard to make
himself available for his team.
Italian daily "Gazzette dello Sport" has published that
INTER MILAN has made an offer of 6M€ for Portugues
& FC BARCELONA midfielder DECO. The Italian club
wishes Deco to substitute Luis Figo, who will leave Inter
for Saudi Arabian football at the end of the season.
SFS will keep an eye on developments
Staying at Barça, the club has rejected the story that explains
RONALDINHO´s absence from training & games in the last
few weeks. The rumour is that the Brazilian star is suffering from
"mononucleosis", or otherwise known, "kissing disease".
Makes you wonder where he has been sticking his tongue!
Lastly, Liverpool coach/manager RAFAEL BENITEZ has
admitted that he received a great offer from REAL MADRID,
but he rejected it because he is happy at his current club.
