SPANISH FOOTBALL . THE GOOD , UEFA & THE UGLY

SFS picks 3 random stories being highlighted today
in the sports media.

Firstly , the GOOD.
PABLO AIMAR
current player of
REAL ZARAGOZA
& Argentine International
was awarded the "Best
LatinAmerican Player"
2006 by press agency
EFE

Secondly , UEFA CUP competition returns to European
Football with 4 Spanish teams in play in the 1ยบ legs.

ESPANYOL plays Italian team LIVORNO at Italy &
due to the crowd control sanctions will play without
crowd, as the below picture tries to give us a feel.
Strange indeed, lets hope Italian authorities are successful
in calming their Football fans.

Other games with Spanish teams:
Girondins - Osasuna
Spartak Moscow - Celta
Steau Bucharest - Seville FC

Surf in later tonight for results & scorers

The UGLY, is another Brazilian "weeping" to media about
his poor form, the bad times & unhapiness at his club

ROBINHO expressed his unhappy moment at REAL
MADRID,
seeing that neither his coach Capello nor
Football Director Mijatovic have confidence in him
(according to the palyer).
He also denied all rumours of turning up to training
smelling of alcohol & with "party eyes".
Apart from all this Robinho is not performaning as is
expected & rumours place him in AC MILAN for next
season. Real have alraedy placed a price on the boy ,
a cool 30M€. Stay tuned on this front!

Lastly, please read the below post & contribute in the
ETO´O
debate. Yesterday the player lashed out at his
coach & teammate Ronaldinho. Jealousy? Selfish?
Is he correct?

Striker,

In my opinion, Robinho is being coached by Ronaldo here. He obviously wants to be sold and put on the bench. He is a pathetic whiner. It's all about him. Too many divas, not enuff players who put the team and fans in front of their ego. Bah who needs him.

Suuuuure Elisa...

...and Capello is doing everything right!

Face it, Capello has essentially marooned Real Madrid. They went out with a 3-1 lead and played defense, allowing Bayern to press the entire time and they were rewarded with an all-important second away goal.

You better hope Real doesn't pull an "Inter" of last season.

Did it ever occur to you that it is not Robinho or Beckham that is the problem?

Perhaps its Capellos idiotic approach to the Galacticos.
