SPANISH FOOTBALL - REAL MADRID: PROMISES, PROMISES, PROMISES...II

The REAL MADRID presidencial election race is heating up,
with the announcement yesterday in a Spanish TV Football
Show, the ex-President, Lorenzo Sanz was joining in the race.

But this is beginning to look like a political campaign, instead
of a sporting election. All candidates are making promises
which are still "speculations" & rumours.

The latest is the VILLAR MIR - CARLOS SAINZ candidates
promise, of going after ARSENAL´s dual Spaniards CESC &
REYES. The candidates are also talking to Arsenal coach
ARSENE WENGER , & if they can convience him to come to
Madrid, it will be easier to convience the boys as well.

As mentioned previously, the other candidate team of RAMON
CALDERON, with ex-player Pedja Mijatovic (as Football
Director), are talking with & attempting to bring AC MILAN´s
star Brazilian KAKA, plus are talking to FABIO CAPELLO to
be next season´s coach. The approach towards Kaka has
infuriated Milan who is thinking of taking Real Madrid to
the FIFA Tribunal.

The newly announced LORENZO SANZ candidate - which will
officially present itself in a Press Conference on Tuesday -
is looking at bringing back much loved coach VICENTE DEL
BOSQUE. If he would to say NO, Sainz would look at Fabio
Capello as well.

But here are the big promises. It has been speculated that Sanz
has spoken to LIONEL MESSI father to see if he can tempt
the player over to Madrid. Messi has a 150,000,000€ contract
cancelation clause with BARCELONA FC, in which, if Real
were to pay that the player would automatically be Real´s
independent of Barça.

But it sounds CRAZY , to pay so much ¿right? ¿Pure science
fiction?















The promises continue from Sanz, there is also rumours he is
talking with SAMUEL ETO´O, now hows that for you!

The election & its promises may sound great for the Real Madrid
fans, be it is seriously weakening Real against it´s rivals, who have
started signing up the big names on the market. Until election day
the 2º of July, Real can only speculate, ask players to wait, make
big promises, before being able to actually sign someone. ¿Will
the big names wait?¿Will the rivals grab them before?
