SPAIN heads GROUP H with 6pts & has qualified for the next
round. Next Friday it plays SAUDI ARABIA at (16.00 Sp.Time),
were key players will be given a rest & subs given a run.
Spain look good , but suffered yesterday against Tunisia in their
3-1 victory. The most questioned player & most pressured, RAUL,
showed "once again" how he can take it all onto his shoulders
& spark the change needed in a match.
He scored the 1º goal & his 44º International goal for Spain -
a record, his the leading scorer ever! The Captain has in
countless ocassions come out & "save" his team when the
going gets tough & yesterday it was tough until his goal in
the 70´min.
Here is a video with the highlights of the 3 goals for Spain.
Special mentions to XAVI, X.ALONSO & CESC who
also contributed to change the course of the game in the 2º
half.
This young man FERNANDO TORRES has already 3 goals
in the tournament & is capturing the World´s media attention
Read below the post with a resume of the transfer rumours &
latest situation concerning Torres, the Tunisia match roundup
& all the news & gossip on Spanish Football.
¿What are your thoughts on Spain? ¿Will they go far?
¿Who´s , in your opinion, the decisive player?

They are up there!
player XAVI!
Its a long road Striker, good start , luck will play a part.
Best
Spain have been really good but they are expected to be so at least in the group with no real threats.
I am looking forward to the next round. Although I still a bit skeptical about Spain's chances, I would love to see them progress past the quarters this time.
Striker, I feel Torres might be a bit similar to Rooney in the way he plays...in case ManU buy him, can he really fill Ruud's shoes?
Good question lucas!
Torres' still very young... or you could say inexperienced. If ManU really buy him to replace Ruud, he might find it difficult to pay. After all, it's a new league to him, and a considerable amount is placed on him to emulate what VanNil did in Old Trafford.
Let's just say we continue to watch his performance in the WC. I bet by the time the WC ends, Torres would boast a hefty valuation.
